Frequently Asked Questions
Ideally 6 to 8 weeks before departure, as some vaccines (such as Hepatitis B and Rabies) need a course of multiple doses. We can still help with shorter timelines and will give you the best protection possible in the time available.
Yes. Most travel vaccines can be safely given together, and we'll plan combined appointments where it's clinically appropriate to reduce the number of visits you need.
A small number of travel vaccines (such as Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Cholera and combined Diphtheria/Tetanus/Polio boosters) can be free through your GP, but most — including Yellow Fever, Rabies, Japanese Encephalitis and Hepatitis B for travel — are private. We can supply all of these in-pharmacy without needing a GP appointment.
Please call ahead to confirm current Yellow Fever availability, as this is a designated centre service. Where available, we issue the official International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) required by certain countries.
Yes, we vaccinate children subject to age limits for each specific vaccine. Please mention their age when booking so we can confirm suitability.
