UTI Symptoms
Bladder infections, also called cystitis, and urethra infections, called urethritis, are common lower urinary tract infections. Symptoms may include needing to urinate more often, pain when urinating, lower abdominal pain and cloudy or strong-smelling urine. Upper UTIs affecting the kidneys or ureters can be more serious and may cause fever, back or side pain, chills, sickness, confusion or restlessness. These symptoms should be treated urgently.
