NHS EHC scheme
- Under the NHS Emergency Hormonal Contraception scheme, a pharmacist can assess and advise eligible patients
- If the protocol indicates, Emergency Hormonal Contraception can be supplied under a Patient Group Direction
- Young women aged 13 to 19 may be able to access the service free of charge, subject to assessment and local service criteria
